JD van de Bijl in Lienden is a generations-old family business located in the heart of the avenue tree centre of Europe. Based in the Tree Centre Opheusden avenue tree cluster. The Betuwe region, situated between the Rhine and Waal rivers, is famous for its rich soil and excellent conditions for tree cultivation.

Our trees have been putting down their roots in this Betuwe soil for generations. Jan and Gerard are the third generation at the helm and are making the business ‘next generation proof’.

Our motto: ‘Trees, what we do well and what we enjoy!’ reflects our focus on our products: avenue trees and multi-stem trees. The JD van de Bijl assortment is as varied as the tree kingdom itself. Our green products are grown based on decades-old knowledge combined with the latest innovations in irrigation by computer-controlled systems and other techniques which benefit the quality.
